Pepper prices look as though they may be about to settle down, but it could be a week or two before they are back to normal levels. |
Produce News
Peppers are feeling the effects of high demand and tight supplies.The high prices we are experiencing at the moment will ease back as the Dutch season gets into full swing. We are constantly checking for the best price and will keep you advised as the situation changes.
Homegrown Produce
With the late start of the Homegrown Season and the increase in demand, imported produce already under pressure from the poor exchange rate is pushing prices upwards. Lets hope that we have a break in this cold spring weather before to long.
Onions
We are still getting by on Spanish and French onions for the time being but will have to switch to Southern Hemisphere for supplies soon.
 Lemons
There is no sign of any easing in supplies of lemons and good quality is still commanding a premium.
 Mushrooms
Have you tied our gourmet mush pack? - They include Paris Browns - Maitake - Yellow Oyster - Shitake and Enoki, you will not be disappointed. We also able to supply a selection of wild mushrooms from Europe but for these you will need to check availability and pre-order. - Contact our Sales Team.
